Hey, I'm
JIANNE GABRIEL
Full-stack developer & designer crafting modern web and mobile experiences.
From lab coats to laptops. I experiment with code. Building delightful digital experiences, one commit at a time.
About Me
"the origin story"
I used to measure reactions in beakers. Now I build them in browsers.
Back in 2022, I traded my lab coat for a laptop and dove headfirst into web development. Turns out, the scientific method translates pretty well to debugging: form a hypothesis, test it, watch it fail spectacularly, try again.
As a former chemist, I bring the same curiosity and precision to code that I once brought to the lab. These days, I'm a full-stack developer working on modern web and mobile applications.
I love building things that are not just functional, but genuinely enjoyable to use. Whether it's a business application or a silly game about stacking money, I believe every project deserves thoughtful design and clean code.
What I do:
- Full-Stack Development
- React & Modern JavaScript
- Mobile Applications
- UI/UX Design
- Game Development
- Turning caffeine into features
When I'm Not Coding
"the other stuff"
When I step away from the keyboard, you'll find me either moving or completely stationary. There's no in-between.
On the active side, I'm into running and golf. I'm comfortably below average at both, but my enthusiasm is absolutely on a pro level. There's something satisfying about chasing personal bests on the pavement and chasing lost balls in the rough.
On the chill side, I unwind with simulation games. Factorio and Cities: Skylines are my happy places. Nothing quite like optimizing a factory production line or designing spaghetti highway interchanges to relax after a day of optimizing code.
And of course, there's the eternal battle of convincing my cats that my keyboard is not a bed.
